Daniel LuomaDaniel Luoma

Dan is an Assistant Professor in the Forest Science Department at Oregon State University. He received a B.S. in Geography at the University of Oregon in 1978. He earned both his M.S. and Ph.D. in Geography at Oregon State University in 1987 and 1988 respectively. He is involved in the Long Term Ecological Project (LTER) at the H.J. Andrews Forest, the Demonstration of Ecosystem Management Options (DEMO) study, and the Long Term Ecosystem Productivity study. He specializes in mycorrhizal and community plant ecology, taxonomy of truffle-forming fungi, and diversity of ectomycorrhizal fungi.
