Rooster Comb RNA

Rooster Comb Research Natural Area (RNA) was established to represent a terrestrial community of mountain mahogany/bluebunch wheatgrass (Cercocarpus ledifolius/Pseudoroegneria spicata) and an aquatic ecosystem with a black cottonwood (Populus trichocarpa) riparian community. The area encompasses both sides of the canyon and a portion of the Little Blitzen River.
