Little Wildhorse Lake RNA

Little Wildhorse Lake Research Natural Area (RNA) was established to represent a pristine, mid- to high-elevation lake in the Basin and Range Physiographic Province. The RNA lies at the headwaters of Little Wildhorse Creek, at the highest elevations of Steens Mountain. The area also contains rim and upper elevation plant communities.
