The HJ Andrews Experimental Forest has a 58-year history of collaborative wildland research. A long-term partnership between the US Forest Service and Oregon State University has produced an unprecedented wealth of ideas, research, applications, and education that has strongly influenced land management throughout the western United States and beyond. This collection documents a half-day symposium reviewing how the ideas and research developed, how they influenced each other, and the contributions to natural resource science during this time.
