Strong ties exist with the NSF-funded Long-Term Ecological Research Network, particularly the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest, and with the Coastal Landscape Analysis and Management Study (CLAMS), and the U.S. Geological Survey. We share a common interest in understanding linkages among physical and biological processes and human activities, with a particular focus on the steep, forested landscapes of the Pacific Northwest.
