Lodging:
The conference will be held at the Boise Centre on the Grove Convention Center, located at the corner of 9th Street and Front Street in downtown Boise. Two hotels near the convention center have blocks of rooms set aside for the conference: The Owyhee Plaza (800-233-4611 or 208-343-4611, www.owyheeplaza.com) and the Best Western Safari Inn (800-541-6556 or 208-344-6556, www.bwsafari.com). Both hotels have shuttle service to and from the airport and free parking. View maps of downtown Boise or hotels near downtown Boise.
Room reservations can be made for the conference rate of $73 for a single or $83 for a double plus tax. Room rates are guaranteed for reservations made by February 12th and be sure to mention that you are with the Western Forest Insect Work Conference.

Workshops & Plenary Sessions: View a 1-page Instructions for the Proceedings, providing guidance to workshop and plenary session moderators. Contact Dwight Scarbrough if you have any questions about workshops or plenary sessions.
Poster Session: View the Instructions for Posters for details about poster size, format, submission deadline etc.
Student Presentations: We have scheduled 15 minutes for each student presentation which allows for a 10-12 minute talk with 3-5 minutes for questions. Please develop your presentations with these times in mind.
For the Conference Proceedings, please send an abstract of your presentation along with the information listed in bold type above to the Proceedings Compiler by May 4, 2007 to insure that it is included in the Conference Proceedings. Be sure to identify your submitted abstract as a Student Presentation so that it is included in the correct section of the proceedings. See the Instructions for the Proceedings for information on where to send your abstract information.
