to benefit the Western Forest Insect Work Conference's
 
Memorial Scholarship Fund

How can you help? By donating your talents!

Bring an item of your own making to the 2003 Conference in Guadalajara, Mexico. The item will be displayed in a Silent Auction at the poster session and social events on Tuesday, November 4. Members will have the opportunity to view and bid on these items. All proceeds will go to the Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Ideas for items to contribute:
Photographs
Foodstuffs
Crafts
Artwork
Insect Specimens

Items will compete for recognition in the following categories:
Quality
Aesthetic Appeal
Humor
Most Difficult to Bring Through Customs
Highest Amount Earned for the Scholarship Fund

November will come quickly! So get to work on a special project that displays your skillfulness -- and join the fun at the Silent Auction at the work conference. Other items of potential interest to the membership that aren't self-made won't be refused.
