Introduction

I have possession of much historical material, including photos, relating to North American forest entomology during the last century. Guided by webmaster Kathy Sheehan, I began posting a selection of photos and accompanying narratives in October 2007. Postings are listed sequentially so you need not scroll through them in search of new ones. No additional postings are anticipated for the Yellowstone N.P. category.

A new category, Canada, has been added. Contributions to this and other categories are solicited. See the examples posted. Narratives should be anecdotal, humorous at times, and supported by suitable photos, preferably informal and in the field. Please communicate your intention to me by e-mail prior to submission. Photos should be downsized to less than 500 KB, preferably in jpg format.

Contact me for permission to use posted photos, some of which are copywrited.
