Report from Open Source Meeting: Matt reported that it was a good meeting. There was a survey of open source software (pdf) or (powerpoint) Both take a while to load. There are many packages that he hadn't heard of. Resurgence with Grass.
Geoprogramming Group: Excellent meeting on Wednesday, with Matt covering Versioning software. Next meeting will be November 28th.
GIS Day November 14th. Janet Ohmann is the keynote speaker. Title:(Seeing the forest and the trees: harnessing GIS to map forests of the Pacific Northwest)

Kuuipo - New portals: Land Use, Rural communities, Wildlife. Have the GIS portal toolkit and looking at being the spatial data protal for DAS. Hiring Program Manager for the spatial data portal
Theresa - New intern, working on projects for him, LTER grant due in February, so big push there. Trying to work with ArcServer.
Kelly - NHD data, personal geodatabase investigation.
