    Round table:

Theresa has a new volunteer. They will be working on metadata, and hopefully cleaning up a managed stands dataset from the HJA. Also possibly an ArcServer application. Theresa is a member of the USFS SDE Team representing the research side of how to implement SDE at the USFS data centers. Theresa also mentioned an application available to map out your web hits.

    - Peder had a question regarding 9.2 and Terra server. It doesn't work properly once upgrading to 9.2. Heather has also experienced the problem, and we didn't really come to a resolution. We questioned whether you could use the Terra server as a service.

Dave is experiencing a Windows Explorer slow-down after installing SP3 for 9.2 and wondering if they are related. The USGS will be getting a new TDS Nomad, rugged handheld for field work. It has and integrated GPS and camera. Dave had a question about .r2s files, needed for some hydrological models.

Next Meeting: October 18, Dylan Keon will be the guest speaker.
