ArcGIS 9.0 Upgrade:
Keith Reynold's EMDS program doesn't work with ArcGIS 9; it was created for an earlier version.
There is no developer kit with v9.
The College of Forestry doesn't have the ArcGLOBE data CD yet.
Theresa Valentine is having a problem with a grid classified in v8.3 not opening in v9, in fact crashing ArcMAP9.
V9 is not back-compatible, and if an earlier version mxd is opened and saved in v9 it will not be readable with an earlier version.

Terralyn described the new Forestry Computing Committee policy on fees for network storage space.
SDMG needs to discuss CoF GIS storage which is now on a Unix server being paid for by the shrinking Unix community.
GIS Day:
Theresa Valentine, John Wells, and Ken Vance-Borland volunteered to be the Forestry GIS Day committee.
Round Table:
A new OSU Geographic Information Science certificate program has replaced the Environmental Information Science and Technology program. Professionals can take classes to get certified, or students can get a certificate along with their degree. See GIS Certificates for more information.
