SDMG Notes - February 17, 2004

Treats: Theresa
Notes: Ken Vance-Borland

Speaker: Tim Holt

Tim Holt has worked as a research assistant at OSU since 1985, and has been involved both professionally and privately with computer game development for several years. When not working on Day of Defeat (a Valve Software game), he is a strong advocate of Serious Games - the use of game technology and ideas to non-entertainment purposes. He gave a fascinating presentation about how game technology is being adapted to serious uses. The following web address might of interest to those wishing to know more: seriousgames.org
