Jennifer Swenson Grapics Related to Owls Here are some graphics from Lidar remote sensing around N.S. Owl nests in the western Cascades showing forest structure. The rainbow colored ones represent a horizontal transect ~500 m long cutting through the nest area. The canopy volume profiles are summaries over the area. Nests D, E, F, and G are in the Andrews. These data are from a class project I did and presented at the Soc. for Conservation Biology meeting in 2000.
