Toward the end of the second session of the Geospatial Statistics Workshop by Jay Ver Hoef there was discussion of setting up a spatial statistics email list for sharing problems and solutions among workshop participants and anyone else interested in the topic.

Spatialstats Subscription Instructions

To send a message to majordomo@cof.orst.edu with the "subscribe spatialstats" in the body of the message. For more user information on majordomo see http://web.cof.orst.edu/net/software/email/domouser.php.

If you ever want to remove yourself from the mailing list, you can send mail to Majordomo@cof.orst.edu with the following command in the body of your email message:
unsubscribe spatialstats
or from another account,
unsubscribe spatialstats "your name here" and (the e-mail address you are subscribed as), for example: unsubscribe spatialstats theresa valentine tvalentine@fs.fed.us

If you ever need to get in contact with the owner of the list, (if you have trouble unsubscribing, or have questions about the list itself) send email to owner-spatialstats@cof.orst.edu. This is the general rule for most mailing lists when you need to contact a human.
