Purpose Suitable for spatial analysis. Supplemental_Information Procedures_Used For the Plan Trend scenario, projection to the year 2050 was accomplished via a series of six ten-year time steps beginning with 2000. Each grid is a combination of observed and simulated land cover and land uses. Modeling occurs in three principal content areas: urban and rural development, agricultural crops, and forestry. Please see the process narrative. Revisions Version five was revised in response to reviews by ERC scientists and the Willamette Valley Livability Forum conducted in November 1999. Riparian reserve areas were increased in federal lands, and more recent forest management data were included for the Willamette NF. Agricultural fields were characterized with greater specificity, and the treatment of fields within urban growth boundaries and rural residential zones was improved.
