Abstract:
-
Willamette River Basin wildlife habitat as defined by biologists for the 279 non fish vertebrate species evaluated in the wildlife models. The Development 2050 version derived from the PNWERC landuse/land cover datasets and modified with additional wetlands data from the Wetland Resource Inventory and the Oregon Dept. of Fish and Game habitat data. The development scenario assumes greater reliance on market oriented approaches to land and water use patterns with attendant emphasis on short term economic gains through the year 2050.
