Spatial Databases

Spatial data with metadata soon will be available for download from the website. This includes Landsat TM/ETM mosaicks developed by RSAC, rasters for all spatial variables used as explanatory variables (predictors) in the GNN models (climate, topography, soils, ownership, disturbance, etc.), and selected ancillary data layers (e.g., modeling region boundaries, nonforest mask).

Most spatial data are provided as 30-m-resolution ArcGIS grids, with FGDC-compliant metadata accompanying all grids.
