The product of this effort is a thematic digital map of 35 land use/land cover classes. The cover classes depict the forest, natural, agricultural, and urban conditions of the entire basin. Purpose: To provide a highly accurate, high spatial resolution vegetation cover digital image of the Willamette River Basin for use in forest & wildlife management and regional ecology studies. Supplemental_Information: Procedures_Used: Five different LANDSAT Thematic Mapper images from 1992 were interpreted for spectral variation and labelled using ground reference data from a variety of sources.
