Reviews


IMST reviews ongoing or proposed programs and activities that could influence accomplishing the mission of the Oregon Plan. Many of these projects are brought to the Team for its consideration by the Governor's office, legislature, or Oregon Plan agencies. The Team accepts review requests based on the request's technical merits and appropriateness to the Oregon Plan. All review requests are considered and accepted at Team meetings. Please check meeting agendas to determine when reviews will be discussed. For others, see completed reviews in our reports section.

ESA Recovery Plans for Salmonids

On March 15, 2007 ODFW requested that the IMST review 5 salmonid recovery plans during the 2007-2009 biennium (download request letter).The IMST tentatively agreed to the review request pending available Team member and staff time when the documents are ready for review. Details of current recovery plans in review or reviews that have been completed will be posted here.

Recently Completed Reviews

  • ODFW's draft Conservation Plan for Fall Chinook Salmon in the Rogue Species Management Unit. At the request of ODFW, the IMST has agreed to review the science underpinning of this draft document. Download request letter. The review was completed on November 11, 2011 (download final review).
  • ODFW's draft Lower Columbia River White Sturgeon Conservation Plan. At the requst of ODFW, the IMST has agreed to review the science underpinnings of the draft docuemtns.The review was completed on July 25, 2011 (download final review).
  • ODF's Elliott State Forest's draft Habitat Conservation Plan and Environmental Impact Statement. At the request of ODF and DSL, IMST has agreed to review the science underpinnings of the draft documents. Download request letter. The review was completed on October 6, 2010 (download final review).
  • ODFW's draft Upper Willamette Conservation and Recovery Plan for Chinook and Steelhead. At the request of the GNRO, IMST agreed to review ODFW's draft recovery plan. The review is expected to be completed in September 2010. Download request letter. The review was completed on September 22, 2010 (download final review).
  • OWRD's draft Ecolgoical Flows White Paper. At the request of OWRD, IMST agreed to review the agency's draft document on ecological flows (download request letter). The review was completed on July 26, 2010 (download final review).
