These layers were created with a GIS modeling process developed by Jeff Kline and Alissa Moses. The grid labeled scnt1994sm is the initial conditions data. Grids labeled scntXXsm are the future projected layers with the XX representing the simulation year. All values are in buildings per square mile. Building density values > 640 are considered urban and are coded as 641. For more information on the modeling process see:
