DATA LAYER NARRATIVE:
This grid is the result of a mosaic
of 30-meter USGS dems. Most of the
dems are Level 2. For some areas, only
Level 1 were available. Level 1 dems contain
systematic errors ("corn rowing") that
are removed in Level 2 processing. The CLAMS
mosaic was treated with a smoothing
algorithm to remove corn rowing in the Level 1
areas, necessarily introducing some
unwanted smoothing in other regions.
