The goals and objectives
of the three CFER projects (Structure,
Large Wood, and Landscape)
are fulfilled by a variety of studies being conducted throughout
western Oregon. The forests of western Oregon, which vary in
locale, climate, topography, and ownership, are often divided
into three distinct biological regions or provinces:
- the
Oregon Coast Range
- the
Western Oregon Cascades
- the
Klamath Mountains (southwest Oregon)
Select the region you're interested in to locate the CFER
studies that are being conducted in that region. The studies
are also organized by topics
and by project objectives.
